Evojam launches a new logo
Evojam has launched a revamped logo and new “Keep Growing” badge. With this step, we start to refresh our brand’s look to match it to our values and mission.
Our logo icon was created in 2015, one year after the company was established. We’ve always been particularly happy with its shape, which has multiple meanings.
It’s an acronym of the name, Evojam, with E standing for evolution and J for a jam session. These words show the way in which we do business — helping our partners to evolve and adjusting our methods to their specific needs.
With an arrow pointing upwards, it can also be read as a symbol of growth as we assist our clients in expanding their business with the use of technology.
The icon refers to our area of expertise in yet another way — it brings to mind brackets used in programming languages.
Since the icon itself has been doing the job we want it to do, we haven’t changed it.
It’s a different story with our font and colours.
Evojam has always been focused on people and their well-being. Our mission is to help pragmatic innovators build digital products that solve real problems and guide them in making the right decisions in the dynamic world of technology. We believe a humane approach to technology can truly make a positive impact on the world.
We felt that our logo is not aligned with our mission as it wasn’t people-centric. The modern minimalistic font reflected the technical aspect of our work. The deep red colour showed our passion for programming and challenging the status quo.
It missed the human side of our operations — our commitment to make technology serve humanity and our attitude towards business partners and employees.
We’ve chosen to open up to people with our visual identity.
Going for a rounded typeface that conveys comfort and softness, we intend to show that we are inclusive and inviting. Our services aren’t restricted to custom software development. We advise, mentor, and support our clients in creating valuable and helpful products. We speak their language and we want them to learn from us as much as possible.
The same should be reflected in our colours. We’re sticking to red as the passion for what we do is still the core of our brand. To shift the focus onto the people we work with and their safety, we’ve added orange, which is associated with warmth and balance.
The “Keep Growing” badge is yet another representation of our values — quality, caring, and learning. It is a part of employer branding. It is directed at employees and candidates, whose growth is our major goal.
So far, the badge hasn’t been as professional as we’d expect it to be.
We were attached to its form and it was hard to say goodbye. Yet, since it’s put on our branded gadgets, its quality is especially important.
That’s why we improved it and made sure that the printed version meets our requirements and is visually appealing.
The colour range stayed the same — green represents growth and “getting the green light” to go ahead, which corresponds to our motto.
Long story short, we’ve refreshed our logo and badge. Now, they’re centred around our values, mission, and services and they’re ready to serve their functions.
