discovery Workshop Overview
The Discovery Workshop is a comprehensive process that takes approximately 12-20 hours, usually spread over 3-4 days. We recommend that the sessions take place onsite wherever possible, but we're also prepared to host them online if needed.
We start the process with the Workshop Kickoff, aiming to build a mutual understanding of the core problem and initial ideas to address it. From there, we move on to discussing the project's current status to ensure that we identify and understand the context of the project environment, relevant dependencies, and current risks.
We have various tools and methods available to facilitate these discussions, and we custom-select them for your specific problem to ensure we address it best.
In the second stage, we move on to the Core Discovery, where we conduct business analysis to define the project requirements further, find "hot spots," and get into the details. We use a range of techniques, such as Event Storming, Customer Journey or User Story Mapping, to help us better understand your requirements.
We wrap up the second stage by reviewing our discoveries and identifying the next steps. We then work offline to synthesise the gathered information and prepare for the Summary Session, where we present our findings and provide actionable recommendations.
